This also means that Energie Steiermark is responsible for switching the heating on and off, which is outside our sphere of influence. No, as a rule the tenant must notify the owner (or landlord) of changes – in other words, inform him or her about them. The deposit serves as security for the landlord for any damage caused by the tenant during the tenancy.
