Looking back on 2020, what makes me most happy is our personnel situation” says Ing. Markus Ritter, CEO of C&P Immobilien AG, his personal summary of the past year. Because apart from all the economic successes, it is above all people that C&P is concerned with in the long term. In the context of the pandemic that has been raging since March 2020, C&P is particularly proud of the fact it has not registered a single team member for short-time work. To the contrary, they were able to increase the number of employees by around 20% to 123. This underlines the role of C&P as a reliable employer, and not only in the Graz region.

The billion mark has been cracked

With an annual result of €178,540,000 in development and sales volume, corresponding to 804 units in 2020, the billion mark within a total volume of €1,012,500,000 was exceeded for the first time. In total, 6,086 apartments have been developed and sold since the company was founded in 2006. A total of 193 units with a value of €55,800,000 have been built up as assets.

These numbers are clear evidence that COVID-19 has not had a significant impact on the residential real estate sector to date. After all, ‘living’ is a genuine basic human need.

The outlook in terms of the project pipeline amounts to a volume of approx. €1,350,000,000, i.e. around 5,150 apartments, which means that the company is aiming to double its current volume.

High and low

The strong demand for rental apartments developed by C&P remained unchanged in 2020. A total of 830 apartments were handed over to their future tenants. The vacancy rate remains at a record low of 0.82%, which speaks above all for the quality of the living space designed by the C&P project developers. True to the motto: ‘If the tenant does well, the investor does well’.

C&P says thank you!

As a special thanks for ‘Team C&P’s’ great performance, part of the company’s success was paid out in the form of voluntary bonus payments. Since various end-of-year activities such as Christmas parties or punch stands could not be held due to the pandemic, these budgets were donated to charitable causes. Besides a generous donation to the Vinzi-Dorf in Vienna, the reindeer in the Schönbrunn Zoo are also pleased to receive sponsorship from C&P Immobilien AG.

The 2021 holiday season

With regard to the outlook for 2021, the project pipeline of approximately €1.35 billion has already been mentioned. With the pandemic hopefully drawing to a close in the next few months, people are craving one thing above all else for the summer of 2021: a holiday.
Just in time for this, C&P Immobilien AG is expanding its range and, in addition to the classic investor apartment, will also be launching its new ‘Vacation Properties’ product on the market at the beginning of the 2nd quarter of 2021. Tourist investor apartments, premium hotels or cosy chalets combine smart investment and holiday pleasure in a charming way.
