C&P Immobilien AG, already the largest investor in the Copacabana, is expanding its long-term investment in the Kalsdorf bathing paradise in the south of Graz from the beginning of May 2020. The proposed purchase includes the swimming lake itself and the southern shore. The aim is to ensure exclusive water quality and further expansion of the existing infrastructure. Beach Club included, noise excluded.

(Graz, 06 May 2020) – One thing in advance: it’s not going to be a party location. After all, Markus Ritter, CEO of C&P Immobilien AG, lives on the Copacabana himself. His promise is clear and forward-looking: our master plan has a long-term perspective. We won’t give an outside promoter a stage for summer parties, we want to enhance the quality of life and protect the water quality!”

Drinkable bathing water

The Copacabana is to be further developed into an exclusive and attractive living and recreation area. In particular, the southern shore will develop into a trendy beach club, a beach resort with good music and even better food. The exclusive gastronomy area is to offer an interesting year-round menu in the future. A small boutique hotel is planned as is the expansion of the sports and leisure facilities. The quality of the lake water is really worth protecting as the Kalsdorf bathing lake is one of the cleanest and purest bathing lakes in Styria, if not Austria. You could even speak of drinkable bathing water. It is not only the residents of the lake area who are happy about this but also the numerous bathers who are attracted by the lake’s charm from far beyond Styria’s borders. And for the customers of the diving centre, water quality means increased fun in the ‘depths’, as this increases visibility enormously when diving.

Part of you wants to go to the beach.

This slogan was already used to market the C&P ‘Lakeside Living’ project. By September 2020, 165 apartments in seven buildings will be completed here. These will comprise affordable two- to three-bedroom apartments with a total of 192 parking spaces and a beautifully designed outdoor area. A private beach is included for residents in the south-east area.

And now the rest of the beach will go to C&P, at least if the seller of the site, lawyer Dr. Manfred Rath, has his way. Rath sees the planned sale to C&P as the completion of his life’s work, which began in 1991 with the revitalization of a huge “gravel pit”. With C&P Immobilien AG, a long-term investor has now been found for the maintenance and further development of the bathing paradise.

Not only are the planned investments included in Ritter’s master plan, but also the administration of the lake is to be raised to a new, even more professional level. The aim is to unite the various interests and property managers under one ‘umbrella organisation’ in order to meet all local needs. For this purpose, Copacabana Betriebs GmbH will not be purchased but a new company will be founded.

Stylish. But Styrian at heart.

All in all, the outlook for the future allows only one expectation: value enhancement, both for the existing residents of the bathing lake and those who will enjoy the Copacabana lifestyle in future. With the perfect mix of leisure facilities, private atmosphere and more than a touch of international flair, C&P Immobilien AG is once again writing a success story. A Styrian success story.
